lubricant.

(3) In addition, Adipic Acid is used as a raw material for polyurethane elastomers and as an acidifier in a variety of foods and beverages, sometimes better than citric and tartaric acids.

(4) Adipic Acid is also used in medicine, yeast purification, insecticides, adhesives, synthetic leather, synthetic dyes and fragrances.

(5) As a chemical reagent, also used in plastics and organic synthesis.
